Fireworks at the Fountain

Whether you are an Orlando native or visiting on vacation, you are invited to celebrate Independence Day in the City Beautiful. On the 4^th of July, which falls on a Monday in 2022, the city will host its 45th annual Fireworks at the Fountain celebration.

Fun for the Whole Family

Fireworks at the Fountain is a free, patriotic Orlando tradition. It takes place at Lake Eola Park in the heart of downtown Orlando.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with activities, treats, and fanfare all around the park. Kids and adults alike can enjoy games and entertaining live performances. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of vendors. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will make an appearance as the night draws to a close.

The awe-inspiring firework display starts at 9:15 p.m. This grand finale will be set to patriotic music by the Orlando Concert Band.

Fireworks at the Fountain is certain to be a magical way to spend your 4^th of July in Orlando.

Road Closures

There will be numerous street closures in the area on the day of the event, including:

• Robinson Street from Rosalind to Summerlin, from 7 a.m. to midnight
• Eola Drive from Robinson Street to Washington, from 7 a.m. to midnight
• Central Boulevard from Rosalind Avenue to Eola Drive, from 2 p.m. to midnight
• Rosalind Avenue from South Street to Robinson, from 2 p.m. to midnight

Parking & Transportation

There are several parking lots and garages near Lake Eola Park.

The city of Orlando has created a parking map so that you can plan before heading downtown. The closest garage to Lake Eola is the Library Garage on East Central Boulevard. Visitors parking in other garages can use the free LYMMO shuttle to get to the park.

Attendees can also travel to the event using a rideshare or a municipal LYNX bus.
