Eighteen months of anticipation for Tool’s return to Central Florida has come to fruition.

On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Amway Center in Orlando, Florida is hosting a groundbreaking alt-metal band Tool in concert.

The History of Tool

Formed in 1990, Tool has collected four Grammy Awards, performed worldwide tours, and produced albums that topped the charts in several countries. Some of their biggest hits include “Schism,” “Sober,” “Forty Six & 2,” and “Pneuma.”

Led by vocalist Maynard James Keenan and drummer Danny Carey, Tool were excited to announce their return to the stage on a globe-spanning tour in support of their latest album, 2019’s Fear Inoculum.

Tool’s Long-Awaited Tour

Like many other bands and artists, Tool planned on touring in 2020 but had to cancel due to the pandemic. After a long wait, Tool announced their 2022 tour dates in September 2021, including a rescheduled stop in Orlando.

Sharing the stage with Tool is American alternative rock band Blonde Redhead. Formed in 1993, the New York City-based trio consists of lead vocalist Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace on drums, keys, guitar, and bass. Together, Tool and Blonde Redhead will put on a mammoth-sized show that will rock the Amway Center.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.
