Comedy legend Chris Rock is bringing his “Ego Death World Tour” to Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The two nights of laughs take place on Wednesday, July 27 and Thursday, July 28, 2022.
A Titan of Comedy
Chris Rock got his start in stand-up comedy clubs in the late 1980s. From 1990-1993, he made his mark on Saturday Night Live. His castmates included friends and future comedy stars Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Chris Farley.
From there, he starred in several comedy specials and his own HBO sketch comedy series, The Chris Rock Show. Rock then broke into film with roles in Dogma, Lethal Weapon 4, Grown Ups, and the animated Madagascar franchise.
He also created and narrated the award-winning series Everybody Hates Chris, which was based on his youth.
Second Show Added
Rock has enjoyed a career resurgence following dramatic turns in FX’s Fargo and the horror film Spiral.
This iconic personality couldn’t just stop by for one night. For those unable to get tickets for Rock’s Wednesday show, another show was added for Thursday, July 28, 2022.
Both of Chris Rock’s Orlando performances begin at 8:00 p.m.
